Hi everyone, well I finally got my custom bajo that Mario made for me.
(1) Quality= 5 The bajo is well built all around and Mario's skills will only get better..... (2) Sound= 5 I must say that I really did not know what to expect from Mario's bajos, but man does this bajo sound loud and sounds really nice and clean will get better with time. (3) Design= 5 well what can I say I dreamed it and Mario made it. (4) Price= 5 Well I knew going in to it money was not an issue, worth every penny$$$$.... (5) Customer service provided= 5 Mario helped me in just about every way possible so I could not have asked for anything more.
I love the way the bajo feels (a lil bit small then most bajos) very easy to play, rich sounding and full of tone. I loved this bajo so much another one is in the works in the next couple of months. I will be getting something that I know Mario will make sound better but never look as nice..... Gracias to you Mario Magallon and your family for making my dream bajo happen and for all your help Gracias.

Well I really cant compare the two yet the bajo Mario made me is still very new. I knew going in to it that this bajo was going to have a sound unlike any other. The woods that I picked are all high grade woods, so sound would not be an issue but I really did not know what to expect. So in simple terms the back and sides are very much like rosewood tone wise (Quilted Bubinga), the top is bear claw spruce. The sound of this bajo is very loud and full of tone very well balanced. My Pena bajo to me is all sound very smiler to a Macias. My Magallon bajo is something that I dreamed in my head that would be out of this world, Mario made it happen....Gracias for the complements guys.

I got this case online but I know that they stopped making this model cuz I tried to order another one. This case is for an acoustic guitar so since my bajo is a little bit smaller then standard it fit perfect! You might find one that is overstock.... Good luck! Mario Magallon here... I just thought I would stop by and let everyone know that I am putting away my tools for a while. I would still be more than glad to answer any questions anyone has on how to repair or build and instrument. Just send me a message via YouTube and I will get back to you as time permits.
I would also like to leave you guys with a video of the last two instruments I built, and probably will be the last two for at least a year (comissioned at least). I will still build, but for the time being it will only be as a hobby and not a business. The two instruments in this video are Mariachera Guitars that were specialy designed for Golpe Style Playing, although it can also be played in different styles (as you will see in the video). hey cali style ur bajo is awesome,but the cutaway does not have as much of a curve as macias or hernandez etc. is that just the way he makes them or will he make it however you want? thanks!
